Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Business Development Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience in a startup environment, is excited about market growth strategies, and is eager to contribute to our mission. As a Business Development Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to multiple aspects of business operations, sales, and partnerships while working closely with our leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying potential business opportunities, partners, and new markets to drive growth.
  • Conduct market research to support strategic planning, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  • Support outreach efforts to onboard new businesses and service providers to the platform.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to help plan and execute campaigns to attract users and businesses.
  • Participate in the development of sales pitches, proposals, and presentations.
  • Provide support in building and maintaining relationships with local businesses, associations, and potential clients.
  • Help track and report on progress, KPIs, and performance of business development efforts.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Passionate about startups, marketplaces, and local business development.
  • Good research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace is a plus.
