Role Overview: We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Marketer / Manager to join our growing team on a part-time, volunteer basis. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work remotely and onsite, focusing on building and managing Sakah’s social media presence. As a startup, Sakah offers significant growth opportunities, including the potential for a permanent paid position as the company expands. If you are passionate about digital marketing, content creation, and community engagement, this role is perfect for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Create compelling content—including text posts, images, and videos—to drive engagement and grow Sakah’s social media following.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and opportunities to interact with our audience, ensuring timely responses to comments and messages.
  • Analyze social media metrics to measure content performance, and use data-driven insights to improve and refine our strategy.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and design team to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all digital channels.
  • Stay current with social media trends and best practices to keep our content fresh and engaging.

What You Bring:

  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Experience in creating and managing engaging content, including an understanding of basic design tools (e.g., Canva).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track metrics and adjust strategies for optimal results.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for storytelling and community building.
  • A proactive attitude and enthusiasm to work in a fast-growing startup environment.
